Welcome To my New Blog Home…

Hey Guys!

I have found that I absolutely LOVE WordPress.  Yes, I did and am still having to figure a lot of stuff out…but I love it.

I love this nice little feature.  I can make a comment within your blog comment (if need be) when it is received.  Love that.

I love how WordPress give me more freedom to do things than blogger did……but it is taking a GREAT deal to get used to…

Please bear with me as I put up my blogroll….and adjust some things….And remember to change my blog address (if you have me in your blogroll).

I was also thrilled when I found out I wasn’t going to loose any of my blogger posts….it was so easy peasy to Import them over….

Now it is VERY late and I have to get some sleep…

Have a GREAT night everyone!

Webkinz Fun….

Have you seen these cute little stuffed animals?
If you have little girls or boys….but preferably little girls between the ages of 7/8 (they do have to be able to read fairly well) and up…you need to look into these little stuffed animals.

They come with a special code, that they can get online with and create and adopt there “webkinz” we gave my daughter a panda. And she loves it.

They create them, the webkinz has there own room for there “parent” to customize.
They can chat with other webkinz users and become friends with them.

My nieces have had a webkinz for a little while now, I had this one up to give to her for Christmas, but yes, I broke down and gave it too her today. She loved it. And of course wants more….(which she is getting one for her birthday and probably one more for Christmas).
They are suppose to be collectible as well.

You can find the Webkinz website here: Webkinz website

This would also be a great birthday gift for a 3rd grader on up in my opinion.

Hobby Lobby….

I just LOVE Hobby Lobby!
I love the sales they have the Holiday Decor they get in…
There furniture.
The crafts department.
Don’t ya just love shopping there?
I do….
That is why I am excited to announce that…..

My husband is now employed by Hobby Lobby!
WHOOHOO!!!
I am so proud of him. He spent almost 22 years in Active Duty Army. He is a disabled Vet. He is starting on his second career. Going to College FULL TIME to be a history Teacher. And now he will be working 20 to 30 hours a week at Hobby Lobby! And he is so excited. He can actually spend hours in Hobby Lobby just looking. As so could I.
Maybe this year, I can get a Christmas Tree I REALLY want!
He is thrilled.
He almost has a 4.0 in college. I believe it is 3.8. I hope this doesn’t hinder that…..
However, we need this income to supplement his retirement, disabled vet pay, and my eBay business pay was just not cutting it. Everything was paid, but it was cutting it really close.
So with all his pay he gets from disability, retirement, my eBay business and Hobby Lobby. I will now be able to afford more groceries, a birthday for my kids, I will be able to have a nice Thanksgiving and give my kids a decent Christmas.
We were living penny to penny and this is going to help out so much!
I am so proud of my husband. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
I love you Eric…..

*Daily Thankful Thought-I am thankful for the job that was provided for my husband and I am thankful to have a SUPER husband!

The Word of the Day……

Must be Mom!
DJ: Mom, Mom can I go over to Colton’s House?
Me (the mom): Only after you eat your monkey bread.
Zet: Mom, I am hungry

Dat: Momma, Momma come ‘ere.
Me (the mom): What’s wrong Dat, zet give Dat the ball back.

————–5 minute’s later———
Dat: Momma, Momma, come ‘ere (using his hand in the come here motion)
Me (the mom): What’s wrong baby?
Going into the living room. (DJ now has Dat’s Ball)
DJ give the ball back to Dat. To Dj & Zet, Please stop annoying your brother.

—————–Monkey Bread done——–
DJ: Mom, Can I eat outside and talk with Colton.
Me(The mom): Only if you bring your plate back in.
Zet: Mom don’t I get some?
Me (the mom) Of course you do Zet just give me some time.
Dat : me me me me (wanting some monkey bread)
Me (the mom) hold on Dat, let me get zets.
Meme: (comes into the kitchen) Mom, do I get any monkey Bread?
Me (the mom): of course you do MeMe.
All of the now have there monkey bread….
Now, just to get ready for the snack rush…sometimes I feel like I run a am a short order cook and I guess I sort of am. With 4 kids, I always feel like I am in the kitchen. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Although, sometimes I rather be shopping.

*Daily Thankful thought #10-I am so thankful for email. To keep in touch with family and friends.

Things I really need to do….

I really need to be listing things in my store for sale. However, it is summer and business is slow and listing things just add more money that I have to pay eBay. End of August through May I always see good sales. But I have hit my summer slump!
So this evening I am going to get more things listed.
I am going to start laundry.
And sometime this week I want to give my fridge a deep cleaning.
This is a very good segue to a shameless plug for my store.
You can visit my store at http://www.jewelrygiftsetc.com/

End of shameless plug.I will not plug my store very much on this blog. This blog is meant as a outlet for me and right now, I just can’t stand paying eBay all there high fees. But I am in a need too situation.
Now, I am motivated enough (I think) to get my laundry started.
*Daily Thankful thought #9-I am thankful for Rain. Which we are getting right now and it is so needed. I love the rain!

It’s Not just Hot….

It’s STINKIN‘ hot!
I am so ready for the fall it isn’t even funny.
I had to go to Wal-mart to do some grocery shopping today.
It was PACKED!
I can’t stand shopping when it is crowded!
I like to enjoy shopping.
On another note:
Meme woke up with a cough and a slight sore throat.
I worry about her when she starts coughing. She has a horrid cough.
When she was in Kindergarten, she was hospitalized because she was so sick with pneumonia. She went into the hospital the DAY after Christmas. And was in the German hospital for 7 days.
I was pregnant with Dat at the time.
She didn’t go back to school until a week after they had been in school. We wanted to make sure she was good and over it.
So with Every little cough she gets I worry.
She is running no fever and feels fine now. But I did give her some cough medicine for good measure.
It has been a long exhausting week.
I have things I have got to do before tonight. I need to start laundry again and pick up some.

*Daily thankful thought #8-I am thankful for Air conditioning. (ours has been on what seems like NON-stop)
