Thanksgiving Fun And The POWER of prayer….

Anyone enjoy Hangman….
Then you will like this…it is Thanksgiving Hangman…which used to be Halloween Hangman until they changed it. The words that are used are fall and Thanksgiving type words. I like games like this to keep my mind active.
Halloween Hangman created by The Dimension's Edge, Inc.
Now on to the top of Power of Prayer. I am such a big believer in the POWER of prayer. And even though sometimes answered prayer aren’t the answer we are looking for it still amazes me the wonderfulness of it all.
As most of you that read my blog. You know that David has broke out in a few bumps/boils??? Well, I immediately started putting his antibitoitc cream on them. And as of right now there is only ONE left! And It appears to be going away. I am keeping a sharp eye on them.
Anyway, I know quite of few people that read my blog have David in there thoughts and prayers. I know my extended family has David on a prayer list. To me, the healing of these bumps, which I know were on there way to becoming the dreaded boils. ARE A ANSWERED PRAYER! They might come back, they might not. I leave that in Gods Hands. I have realized over the last few weeks. That God really doesn’t give you more than HE thinks you can handle.
David has been through so much with these things, it amazes me that he still smiles even when he is in pain.
I feel SO extremely blessed that my children are happy, healthy and well adjusted individuals. Yes, sometimes they do get sick, drive there mother to the point of insanity, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I feel so very fortunate for everything that God has given us…..
I am also blessed for the friends I am starting to make here.
Thanks to all of you that read my blog…
I hope you all had a wonderful Monday.
TTFN!

Finally Some Progress….

We should have our van in a week or less!!!! WHOOHOO!!! I am so excited. Never thought I would be so excited over a automobile!

A little David update…..No new boils or carbuncle’s. Which is an answered prayer. For those that pray we would appreciate continued prayers that they are totally gone. If he doesn’t have them for a month, We will feel much better about them NOT reoccurring. For those of you that have been praying for David, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!
hhmmmmm a little more rambling…

Question……

First off a little background. We purchased our house brand new in 2005. The builders put in horrible carpet. I can’t stand it. It shows EVERYTHING! Our foyer is cherry hardwood. Then you walk into my formal living room to carpet. From there you walk into my formal dinning room that is also cherry hardwood. Basically, the only rooms downstairs with carpet is my daughters room and the living room. We are eventually going to replace the carpet in my daughters room as well as all the rooms upstairs.

Anyway, at first my husband and I just wanted to replace the carpet in the living room with a nice Berber carpet. However, now my mind is changing and I think I would like to use the same hardwood that is in the foyer and dinning room. I think it would create a great flow.

Here is a picture of our living room.

My plan for the windows is to replace the blinds with the real nice thick wood blinds and then get curtains for big and small window that drap to the floor and kind of drag the floor. One of my walls in the living room is red. That will be painted over. I am over the red color now that it has been up about 18 months.

The room is 16 X 18. So would you put down a nice Berber Carpet or would you put hardwood?

I hope you all had a marvelous Thursday. My day ended up being just fabulous!

TTFN!

What I do When My kids are at school…

I thought it would be neat to share with you what this SAHM does while her older children are at school.

1. Clean and do housework.
2. Laundry (Although, that might fall in line with number 1)
3. Answer my Ebay Email.
4. Make Pumpkin Bread.
5. Make brownies and give David the bowl to lick.
6. David helps Mommy make Chocolate Chip cookies. (he actually knows every ingredient that goes into chocolate chip cookies)
7. Play with David.
8. Read and talk to/with David.
9. Play play-doh with David.
10. Act silly with David.
11. Put David Down for a nap.
12. Have quiet time just for myself.
13. Answer Ebay Questions.
14. Cruise Ebay, and Toys R Us to get Christmas Gift Ideas.
15. Sometimes, I will call my grandma.
16. Check the mail.
17. Feed Baloo (Our silly black cat)
18. Prepare a snack for the kids when they come home.
19. Watch Movies with David.
20. Enjoy the time with just David and I!

My days go by so fast. I think it is because I still have David at home. I really don’t want him to grow up. Three is the perfect age to just freeze them in time for just a while. But it is so excited to see him learning new things. And the expression on his face when he “gets” something.

Like Yesterday, when we were having our “I love you” conversation where when I tell him “David, I love you” and he replies with “I Luub Daddy”. I finally told him “David you can love both Daddy and Mommy at the SAME time!” The look on his face was priceless and with a 10 second pause from him. He said “COOL”. Like he actually got it. However, when I started in again with “I love you David.” He went right back to “I luub Daddy”. Which is fine. He has a superb, wonderful, Awesome relationship with his daddy.

It is weird to think of that in 2 years David will start Kindergarten. And in 3 years Eric will be finishing up college and start teaching. It seems like time goes changes go on within a blink of an eye.

I love the quality time I get to spend with David. Sometimes, I feel I don’t spend enough time with the older ones. And sometime I don’t. But when I do, I just love the feeling of having one on one time with each of them.

Even if it is just taking them up to walmart with me to go grocery shopping. Daniel tells me so much on our grocery shopping trips.

I am so blessed to have my four wonderful kids. I do not know what I would do without them.
They are my heart and my life. They truly make life wonderful and challenging all at the same time.

I never thought I would have 4 kids. And some people think we are out of our minds for having the last two. But I wouldn’t change it for A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G.~!

Have a wonderful Evening.
