Aimee’s 5th Grade Graduation…

And yes, I have pictures.  Although, my little camera DID act up while there.

There were 7-5th grade classes with a total of 160 students.  Aimee is in the top 10% of all classes combine!  I am SO proud of her!

After it was over.  Each class had there own little get together in there respective classrooms.

Aimee’s teacher pulled me aside and told me that Aimee was The BEST kid in the class….and the smartest.    So proud!

Aimee and Her Teacher Mrs. Allensworth….She loves her.  She is known as the hardest teacher at the school.  Aimee will miss her but is excited to move onto middle school.

Congratulations Aimee Renee!!!!  YOU DID IT!  You are now in Middle school.  We are so proud of you!

Fits My Daughter….

This song fits my daughter Aimee to a T!!!!  The whole song! I hadn’t heard but bits and pieces of if-Until today!  It is her!  It is a Christian song by Francesca Battistelli, called Free to be Me!

Same ole, Same ole….

Yes sireee, that is me….I do the same ole thing day in and day out.  So I hope I don’t bore the small amount of readers I do have.  Hopefully, I will have new stuff to blog about when we purchase our MY car.

We are expecting more snow on Monday and Tuesday!  And the school my kids go to have used up all there snow days.  They just might have to use part of there spring break to make days up…or add the days onto the end of the school year.

 I am such a procrastinator!  My nieces birthday was Jan. 7th.  I still haven’t gotten her gifts out yet.  Tonight, I am wrapping them up, printing the shipping label and getting them shipped out tomorrow.  I feel so horrible! Day, Day…Auntie is SO sorry!

I still haven’t got my hair cut yet.  Hopefully, that will happen in the next 10 days or so.    I also need to purchase new make up.  My ‘old’ make up doesn’t match my skin anymore…how can that be?  Maybe it never did!  I don’t know.  I want to try Bare Escentuals.  I have heard really good things about it.  It is just so expensive.

Anyway, not much going on…..

Snow days are a reason to SING!!!

Snow days are a day of rejoicing in SONG! And my daughter LOVES to sing. So today, I thought I would post a video of her singing. Now, you have got to know some things. One, she LOVES singing. She really loves singing for Jesus. Two, She was sick  the day I recorded this. And three…she is a drama QUEEN! If you watch the whole video you will be able to see parts of her Divaness. (Is that a word?)

Aimee Singing

A Short Friday evening Post

This will more than likely be a short post.
I am DONE with Aimee’s Christmas shopping with the exception of her Santa Gift….which we decided we would get her a desk and school supplies. We just need to find one that is a reasonable price.
I spent most of the afternoon talking to my next door neighbor. She is such a hoot. I love talking with her. From serious to hilarious she is a great person to be around. I can talk about anything under the sun with her. Which is wonderful since all my family lives in different states. And my Best Friend lives in Colorado.
I wanted to get a few pictures of taken of what I purchased yesterday to share with you all….hopefully, I can get that done this weekend.
The kids have NO school on Monday….I am SO hoping that they will sleep in. (Yeah, like that is going to happen)
This weekend…Cleaning the house spotless. Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away and I love having a spotless house on Thanksgiving Day. So cleaning is on my schedule for This weekend. I am hoping by the time Monday rolls around I will be finished or close to it.
So then I will start on addressing my Christmas cards.
I know I am going to start rambling. I need to go and get a few things done while my children are in bed.

Happy Birthday Aimee!

Besides it being my daughter’s 9Th Birthday. It is also Kiss and Make Up Day!
What a fun day this could turn out to be for some of us!
It has been a wonderful day for my Daughter. She loved the cake I made for her, I didn’t like it.
She loved everything she received. And tomorrow, she is going to get to go to Kohl’s to spend $60.00 on Clothes.
This is going to be a very short blogging post. I have so much that needs to get done around here today.
*I need to get more laundry started. Clean my kitchen and dinning room and put my 3 year old down for a nap.

In Honor of my daughter ninth birthday on August 25, 2007. This Thursday Thirteen is all about her.

1. She shares a birthday with her parental grandfather.

2. She was born at 10:35 at night and she is my second born.

3. She is my ONLY daughter. And I thank God Everyday for gifting her to me. She breaks the mold with having 3 brothers.

4. She is TERRIFIED of dogs. Big or small!

5. Her Initial are A.R.T.–Which her dad and I always tell her she is our work of ART. And she loves to do art projects and crafts.

6. She is a AWESOME student!

7. She is a girly girl, but she loves to play basketball, soccer and ride her scooter and bike. And School is a big deal to her, she loves getting good grades.

8. Her favorite color is Pink. Purple is a close second.

9. She has wanted to be a ER doctor ever since she was 5 years old. (This is the SAME age that My husband KNEW he wanted to be in the military. And he almost spent 22 years in the Army) We have faith she will become a ER doctor.

10. She is the baby granddaughter on my husbands side. And the oldest granddaughter on my side.

11. Her favorite Television show is Hannah Montana. And she LOVES anything High School Musical.

12. She is Smart, intelligent and Beautiful (I am bias but I do think she is beautiful)

13. She loves her God, Parents, Family, Friends and people that she doesn’t even know. She is a very prayerful girl. She prays a lot.

I am so blessed that I can Call her My daughter.

All The Good Things-About Aimee

I had another thought on a post for today all worked up in my mind then……
I went to my Mailbox.
And discovered a letter from my daughters 3rd grade Teacher.
It was so touching, that I just had to share it.
Maybe-Some of you elementary teacher’s out there will take this idea and run with it as well.

Our Meme Girl was Baptized Today!!!

My sweet little girl was baptized today…and she received her first Lord’s Supper today!
She is our little princess Prayer Warrior.
She is so sweet, kind and considerate of others.
She is not mean to anyone. (except maybe when her brother’s annoy her a little too much)
Yes, she is not perfect. But she is perfect for us.
God’s Still working on my sweet girl.
I love you Aimee Renee!
She even spoke to everyone. My husband Eric video taped it.
We are so blessed to have her as ours. What a Wonderful God to give her as a Gift to us.
