This is a new fall show on this season.
I wanted to watch this show because it has Kelsey Grammer in it. I think he is just a superb actor.
From the preview of this show I thought, “This looks really Corny.” I couldn’t believe that Kelsey Grammer would be one of the co-stars.
So, Last night; I feed my children and then settled down to watch “Back To You”.
Amazingly, My children were either playing quietly or watching the Disney Channel. This allowed me to watch all of it, all the way through. Checking on them during commercial breaks.
My Review (not that it is worth much): It is Spectacular!!!!!!!! Kelsey Grammer is such a well-rounded actor. He and Patricia Heaton have great Chemistry. I will have to get used to the supporting Cast. They are all relatively new comers with the exception of Fred Willard.
In case anyone missed the very first episode. (Shame on you! Just kidding, really) Chuck Darling (Kelsey Grammer) was fired from his highfalutin anchorman job. And all the world saw the reason behind his firing on “You Tube”. He was with Channel 9 (WURG) Pittsburgh before and ruffly, left 10 years prior.
He found out that he shares a daughter with Kelly Carr (Patricia Heaton) that was conceived in a one night stand before he left for “greener pastures”. There daughter Gracie Carr is played by
Laura Marano. She is unaware of who her father is. And Chuck Darling realized that he was her father during a newscast.
He became even more aware that he was Gracie’s father when he went to visit Kelly at her home; when she received a phone call from her daughter asking if a particular book was in her book bag. It was. Kelly attempted to take the book to her daughter. But her daughter refused saying she would drop by and get it herself.
Kelly abrutly told Chuck to leave, getting more angry and nervous as the time went on. Finally, she told him that Gracie was his daughter. That she tried to tell him before he left but he would never return her phone calls. Kelly explained, how she was doing just fine without him.
Right as he was leaving, his daughter opened the door. She wanted to go see a ‘R’ Rated movie that her mom wouldn’t allow her to see. She was complaining about how little her friends brother was and he was allowed to see it so what should the problem be.
She then turned to Chuck before she left and said “If you had a daughter would you let her see a ‘R’ rated Movie?” (Not those exact words but something to that affect). He looked up and Kelly was shaking her head. And for the life of me, I can’t remember what Chuck said.
At the end of the episode, you see Chuck Darling phoning Kelly Carr to tell her that their daughter is “Spectacular”. Even though she probably already knew it.
It is going to take some time to get used to the supporting cast. However, it was just really good and I can see it becoming one of my all time favorite shows. I completely forgot that he was “Frasier”!
This show is on Fox. And airs on Wednesdays at 8 eastern, 7 central.
*I know this is a big departure of what I normally post of, but it was just too good not to share.*
Now I can’t wait to see “Dancing, With The Stars” next week. I think those will be my two shows that are MUST see’s for me. Although, I am not to thrilled with the Dancing, With The Stars line up this season.
Have a wonderful day.

I just clicked on your link from my site. Great review of “Back to You” but I’ll tell you now since it’s early in the game, Patricia Heaton’s character’s name is Kelly, not Kerry. Glad you liked the show and thanks for visiting!
